...that weekend is my buddy's b-day,...and Torquefest weekend is my b-day,...we will be at both celebratin.

We are super excited to get Wayne as a supporter of the Invasion.
He will go on in the afternoon.
If you have never seen him - you are in for a treat - if you have seen him multiple times - you know he always mixes his set up and he is always ready to try and fill requests from the audience....

I have compiled a video to help promote Iron Invasion - it contains clips from all over - Japan, CA, Jalopy Showdown, Symco Shakedown, Vintage Torque Fest, Hunnert Car Pile Up and more....
we are trying to get across the types of cars we want at the show and tell people what will be at the show.

It is far away - but we have been getting hammered with questions about the pre party for Iron Invasion....
dont worry - we are gonna come up with something.
We are in talks with a couple of different places right now.
We had hoped to get the city square shut down for Friday night - but the city clerk stated that will "most likely not happen"
which means NO.
Perhaps if we show the locals that we are there to support the town (adding $$$ to the restaurants, hotels, grocery stores etc) then they will want us to come there in 2013.
At any rate - know that we are trying to come up with something for Friday night.
Hopperstad Customs has agreed to start Friday off with an open house! So we thank Kerry for getting the ball rolling.
Details on this will be finalized later, but we have plans on being at his shop around 4pm on Friday and then hanging out at his place til around 6 pm
THEN cruise over to Woodstock. We hope to be able to film this cruise from Hopperstad's to Woodstock so if anyone can think of the best FOUR lane road to get from Belvidere to Woodstock - That is the route we should take in order to film the cruise.

It is official - we will have the pre party AT the fairgrounds the night before.
We will have a band playing that night (or two).
If you want to come to the pre party you must purchase a wristband that gets you in to the party AND the Saturday event as well.
So - $10 gets you a nice friday night party as well as a fun filled Saturday.
And if things are too crazy for you on Saturday night - just bring a tent - primitive camping is OK!
We would actually rather have people stay overnight and be safe than getting out on the streets.
Overnight security will be on site.

 

Woot! Might have to bring a tent.
This is going to be an awesome show. Cant wait.

WOW, this sounds awesome ! I will do all that I can to get myself and some chronies to make it. A little bit of a cruise from South STL but, confident that we can make it in caravan style.
