Sorry bct. I made contact with the guy I sold it to. He sold it a couple of years ago to someone in Iowa for a stream liner project. Maybe it's possible he's a member here. BCT is still in search of a cross flow head.

 

I used to call my ex-wife the Iron Dyke.

 

Cross flow head???

 

The Iron Duke head is a crossflow design. Exhaust on one side and the intake on the other. Most inline heads have them on both sides of the head. Either design has pros and cons.

The early iron dukes didn't have a cross flow head. I believe they started in 81.

 

Late 79 was the first year of the cross flow head as far as I know.
