History Iowa highway 30 in 1959

I could watch it all day long.

 

I grew up in Eastern Iowa and have ridden this stretch many times on the way to visit my Grandparents in Ames...I remember cruising down this stretch many times and then heading North at Colo to Zearing where a crazy friend of my parents had a VW junk yard and restoration business....thanks for sharing!

 

My home state ..... traveled that Highway ... and many more.
ahhhh .... the simple life was great then.
