Rain didn’t last long, and the campground “streets” are dry.

I’m trying to identify this damn demon, 169 on all four flanges and a dimple scored into the carb next to the #7 I’m assuming it’s a 750 from some of the info

Ya I was lucky enough to be bullshitting with a dude on a 21 bolt ford flat head. Got to enjoy being dry for once!

image.jpeg Found this.....only $16.00! Admission $15+ $1.00 for the part. Not counting the 1/2 tank of gas and 6 hours of walking. Hope more good vendors show up Friday, ( LOTS of empty spots) for those who couldn't make it today!

Found a big box of used voltage regs & horn relays. Bought what I thought was an old OD relay for 2 bucks knowing it would cover the day's expenses..Instead it was a Caddy Autronic Eye relay. Winner!

Rachel and I met Gene Winfield and watched him hammer weld on a top chop job, and got his autograph, and also got a picture/autograph with the Fonz (both guys were super nice) and I found plenty of little things to piss my money away on, it was really fun. We were there on Saturday, was a pretty good turnout of spectators, although there were some empty swap spaces yet for sure.

This was my 25th Iola swap meet attendance, and I'm 37 so that's a pretty good streak I think.

Got a bunch of things that I needed. And some stuff that couldn’t live without. Sales seemed a little slow but I am blaming that on the heat and maybe the stuff I tried to get rid of. Here’s some of the stuff that I took home[IMG]

Took the 57 up Saturday. Have not been there in 4 years. Started going in 89 and went every year for along time. Contractor I work for now has me out of town a lot and free time is scarce. Seemed pretty quite from years past. But the wife and I had a nice ride from Portage and walked the event, saw some cool cars and Gene Windfield , Hope I make it to 91 and still do what I love! Had a World Famous Chicken dinner and had a great cruise back home. cost 45 dollars in gas! But when your cruising a 57 210 hardtop with a solid lifter 327, Muncie 4 spd and 373 gears, 70 at 3200 can cause that! but it also cause's big shit eating grins:D:D lol Larry

I found the rocker mouldings for my 41 chevy coupe. Other than that nothing real exciting after walking Thurs and Fri.
