$500.00 bucks dosen't get ya to far these days, but here's the parts I bought today from my buddy Ocean. Old Beet and I picked up the parts in West Seattle and had them home by noon and started the mock up and finished by 3pm. Been a busy weekend with the Swindlers poker run, then the HAMBANDY cruise and today with the parts running and mock up. Had the rear and the slicks and the flatty....so here it goes.

Hard to pass up. New spindles, tie rod ends, steering arm, nice set of headlites, Cheezy glass body from the 60s and a bunch of other stuff. Rather well built 2X3 frame. We all need a new project???.................OLDBEET

No and no. I am putting an engine in it for someone, but I used to own it about 10 years ago, it's seen better days. The Epickup sounds like a good deal, but as you see I have alot of other good stuff to do.

just keep the cheater slicks off of it during the heavy rain. I have heard they like to create unexpected u-turns...

    nice project..

  11. True.

The car will get sideways with ease, even without an application of power.
Nothing quite like watching oncoming traffic in the other lane through your side window....

When the "running slicks on the street" fad hit SoCal more than a few very nice cars were totaled in rainstorms and from wet spots on the road.

There had been a bad wreck, in the very spot, about an hour before we spun out. I suspect anti freeze, gas or oil left behind, as we just drove 65 miles trouble free. Put street tires on for the trip home, but still very slick roads.
