I had a chance to check the car out at the speed shop party on Saturday. you did a great job on her and I really like it

Thanks Evel! I actually just haulled ass around the neighborhood about 5 minutes ago. Drove past an elementary school and the teacher started herding the children back inside for safety! haha!

Thanks cruzr! I love your coupe. I'm going to be working on my roll down rear window in a few days and saw your pictures. Reminded me of that and the 50 other things I need to tweak on this car.

perfect! good to see an A coupe with fenders.

 

Been taking a break and working on other cars for a while, but today did some tuning and dialed in some new carbs and took it for a spin. Thought I would share the little video I made.

Looks good Jason, I am glad the carb works for you.
Did you see that the choke butterflys closed a few times in the video?
I never used the choke when I ran the carbs.

I did see that when I was driving. It was like staring at a pair of eyes falling asleep!
When you see them open again in the video, that was me reaching way under the dash to push on the knob I have sticking through the firewall about 2 inches. I need to make that more accessible, or wire them open!

 

That thing pulls pretty hard...it pulled me to the edge of my seat and then pulled my eyes buggy.
