I have no idea how I missed the thread and all of the updates but I just sat here on Christmas eve and read the whole thing plus all five updates. Well, I did read pretty fast over some of the responses but I took my time on the photos in the updates.
All I can say is that when you get it painted and done I'll be making a supreme effort to see it next spring. Nice work and I will be waiting to see the finished product.

I bought a '49 Super Six 4-door two months ago and just found this story. My wife fell in love with with the car when she first saw it. So now it's hers. I've been trying to decide how to make it user friendly for her.(power steering,brakes, A/C etc.....). The frame swap is just perfect. I'd love to see or hear more detail. Any help from anywhere would be appreciated.
