Perseverance-v. "to continue in spite of difficulty". Excellent trait not to mention your welding and other skills. The car looks awsome. Just think what if would be like if Barris had chopped a Hudson instead of a Merc.

Wow it's turning out really nice. I just sold my wife's 50' to an older guy in Seattle who use to hot rod them when they were new. There's a guy down here in socal with a bunch of skirts if you need them.

you have done well. lots of guys can only dream about what you have done, in a short time. well done.
  9. This thread is a few months old. Thanks to Mika for bringing it back from the dead.

I really busted my ass on this car to get it going over the summer, had a few issues in the beginning getting it to run and all (I had the trans out 8 times, 3 different transmissions, and 2 motor rebuilds), but it's a fine runner now.

It looks a bit different, I've added 52 Ford front fender flares, a custom made front license plate mount. and a 53 Hudson rear bumper center section. I actually just came in from the garage working on the 57 Lincoln steering wheel that's going in the car.

I'll be working this winter on the paint and body. I sold a few things to come up with the scratch to paint it before spring.

thanks for all the kind words.
  10. NOOOOOO! How could you! That car was awsome Joe. You should be ashamed of yourself. What are you gonna get now? Don't tell me a FED!
