  4. That Hemi ought to be just about the right amount of power for that little coupe. Welcome aboard.

Welcome Robert! I think you are the fine fellow who sent me some pristine parking brake parts for my '55 Chevy truck, BillyBob, back in aught-six. Good to see you here.

Welcome aboard. I like the inline engines too. I race a GMC 302 in my 57 Chevy.

I wouldn’t put an SBC in anything. They’re boring. Cheap and easy yes but if that’s all you care about why build a hot rod? Just buy a Honda.

BillyBob is in drydock undergoing a transformation as is my other truck, Deerslayer. Things have been slow since I lost my ambition somewhere in my crowded shop. I expect to get my butt in gear sometime soon 'tho.

46 Chevy has rebuilt 216 . It’s getting the 3,55 differential from a 52 powerglide, new wiring. Gas tank , brakes and a new clutch and buddy Walt is going to buy it and drive it like it is. 7120B8B6-44A2-45E8-A375-3BD25788FEE9.jpeg 3ED3221D-1383-4901-9375-8B61E558F70C.jpeg

No, it's BillyBob's original 235 which I need to freshen up a bit. Not going to go the full route with Jimmy rods, forged pistons or custom cam since it's mostly a showboat that will never see the higher rpm's. I do have a Muncie m22 rockcrusher behind it now. It's a bolt-in.

Got a mopar wavy tube axle for suicide front. Will run another Dana 44 6 lug with 41-59 chev truck spindles on front for 6 lug. Going 6 lug so I can run 17” artillery wheel I got. The centers fit in late model dodge 17x6 dually rims. It’s definitely getting a packard trans with pre 39 floor shift top.
