I've had this accessory interior fan for years. As a kid I remember riding in my dads 52 Chevy pickup with this thing spinning on the dash.

I painted it black and put it in my 54 chevy but am curious what the original colors might have been.
Anyone have pic's of these fans?

PS, I did a search an didn't come up with anything on these. Fan.jpg

Depends on the brand. Some were gunmetal gray, others light brown and it was hammer finish paint.

some had rubber blades with no cage.

  5. Can you imagine the government car nazis allowing an uncaged fan to be put in a car now days?

  6. The old un-shrouded Fulton fan was a favorite back in the day. HRP

  7. Hard to find one with rubber blades that have not gotten hard and deteriorated.

  8. They were almost always mounted on top of the dash too....

And some on the steering column. Also, some were electric and some were vacuum operated.
