Dave Soderstroms car was my pick on the "favorite '32 thread". Always LOVED the way he handled the rear pan/tailights on this car. What a fantastic thread.

This car was always neck & neck with Andereggs car for my favorite T. Would love to have more pics of this car, I only have one. Well, two now. LOL

While on the subject of incredible T's, does anyone know anything about the front car in this photo? Looks to be late '40s? I have been on a hunt for info/more photos on this car since 1973. Man, it is something else! Sorry about the quality, I dont have a scanner, so I had to take a photo of a photo.

Sure looks like it. I had always thought Schiefers car had a home-made grill shell based on this photo, as the grill shell appears to get wider and curve outwards at the bottom, but in retrospect, that could be distortion due to the low camera angle.

Great photo falcongeorge! Where did you find it?
Myself and David Walker, who is currently re-creating the schiefer roadster, has collected as much info as possible on the schiefer car here:

Its in one of Don Montgomerys books. I'll check which one, and pm you the title.

  22. Schiefer's grille was originally from a 1933 Ford truck, was narrowed approximately five inches, and had a little bit chopped from the bottom side. The grille hid the center of that suicide front end.

Got any idea what kind of Ford spring that was up front?
