Does anyone know where i can get a old bbc moon intake with 8 weber carbs polished and carbs checked. Possibly in south florida. How much will something like that cost?

Just out of curiosity, what do these go for in good condition with all the plumbing. Not selling it. Just curious.

Anybody know the history on these?... age?

If I had one like the pic's I would price it at $2500 to $3000.Just my opinion.

  3. Hot Rod and Custom Supply on the West coast (Punta Gorda?) sells polished flathead stuff, maybe they can do yours.

Unless you have someone local who really knows Webers, I'd send it to Inglese. They can do just about anything you want. http://www.inglese.com/ I would NOT send it to Vintage Speed.

  6. For polishing, Steve at English Custom Polishing is your guy. He's a HAMB'er (Polisher) and does very nice work. http://www.englishcustompolishing.com/ I'd do it, but I hate polishing intakes :)

    Inglese on the carbs.

In my opinion, that manifold should not be polished, sure you could clean it up if you wanted to. But its just too cool as it is.

Avintage manifold like that has earned its patina, I'd leave it alone.

Just the old fart coming out in me I guess. It looks way the hell cooler the way it is.

One good thing is if i leave it alone, I will save a nice chunk of change.

    I appreciate all the replies.

I am going to BTTT for the night guys. I would like to find a little history on this thing.
