I was woundering what these exhaust and intake manifolds came off of? I have this one on my truck know, 3835527 for the intake, the exhaust number is worn off. The other manifold set is what I want to switch to because of the condition is better. Numbers are 8754844 intake and exhaust is 3835587. I also noticed the carb is different size. The carb that is on my truck is 04512 C , the other carb for the other manifold set is 7004522. Any help would be appriecated.
I believe that I had a 216 intake and exhaust manifold on my 261. The truck had a 216 originally, I believe the people who had put the 235 in had used the 216 manifolds. The 261 should run a lot better with the correct manifolds !!!!
I took the 50 out for a run. What a difference the right intake and exhaust manifold make !!! This 261 has some serious power now !!!
