Just picked up a 260 horse GM goodwrench engine. Just wondering what intake and what size carb work best for this engine.
    Thanks.......

I use a edlebrock preformer and edlebrock 1406....works good for me

  3. and add a better cam and a set of headers

  4. Weiand 8125 Street Warrior Intake with the Spread bore flange, and the Holley 6210 Spread bore 650 carb. That intake is available in Everbright and Polished finish as well. TR

I run this motor with an Edelbrock Performer and a Quadrajet. Works slick. Use a small head distributor with the GM module and it will even look somewhat traditional.

Yes, i was going to suggest edelbrock performer rpm and quadrajet.

    2) But let's define what is intended by "what intake and what size carb work best with for this engine?"

    3) i was able to turn a 16.8 E.T. with this engine using a stock iron q-jet manifold and q-jet. 3800lbs and 2.56 rear diff gear. Some wheelspin. dual exhaust but stock exhaust manifolds.

    Winner!

Not much engine here so this question is best answered with the K.I.S.S.!
