Now that my pickup is finally driveable, I need insurance. I plan on driving it on a regular basis - not just to shows - & would appreciate recomendations on who to use.
    Thanks

  2. Search the forum.

There are many.... many threads on this subject.

My hand is cramping up typing the same thing over and over again.

This is a subject that has been beat to death just like "What part do I have" and "What's this worth".

My insurance co. is out of Southern California.
I had 2 BMWs, my classic '66 VW, and my '55 F100; they didn't 'mind' the VW, but were scared to death of insuring the truck.

I talked to an uninformed guy at the main office (by phone) and gave him the website for Mid-50s F100 parts, and Bob's in Central Calif.
He went to the websites, checked out some of the parts prices, and educated himself on the availability of body and other parts.
I assured him that in the event of an accident, I would be doing any and all repairs...
He called me back, and the truck was cheaper than the BMWs. (to insure...)
Same family policy, no minors driving, just the wife and myself.
