What do guys use for the padding between the glass and the bezel on your gauges and what not?

Gasket paper, thick charcoal color for black face gauges.

  3. You can buy a roll of cork from a hobby place like Micheal's, Hobby Lobby.... or go with the expensive gasket cork.

When I am assembling smooth bezel Stewart-Warner gauges I use some of the stiff black gasket paper. I bought a circle cutting compass to do the many sizes I'd need on the various gauges.

That's what I ended up getting from Hobby lobby. Turned out ok had to use a little spray adhesive to get them to stay

  6. That’s the same setup I bought my last roll for, as you know it crumbles easy. The gasket cork is way less crumbly but more $$.

    The gauges look great.
