Screenshot_2015-05-20-17-05-50-1.png Ok so I want to put in a open drive line rear end and get rid of the torque tube... has anyone done this and do you have any pics? I read that on trucks if you reverse the leaf springs that this will bring the leaf springs center bolt center will this work for a car? Any input would be greatly appreciated thank you

If it's the car in your avitar, a 52 Chevrolet, then what most guys do is drill a new spring bolt hole 1 1/2 inches forward, and 1/2 inch inward; that centers the rear end in the wheelhouse. Easiest rear end to use and do this to is the Tri-Five years rear ends. Many use a 4 X 4 rear end from a small version Blazer or S-10. We used a spare 56 rear end I had on hand to use in the 51 Bus Coupe, so I only have direct experience with those years, 55-57. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
