What problems can I expect installing a Big Block w/T56 trans. into a 49 Chev Fleetliner. Suspension change and moving brake cyl. already considered.Has anyone done this combination?

you will probably have to do a MII front or a subframe swap and of course a new rearend. I have been looking at the same and no way to get around the steering box that I can see and due to the width of the motor the block or exhaust will hit. if you are going with a bigblock, you will want better brakes, so figure an update to dual master cylinder set up.

Do an intro, dude. Momma taught me not to talk to strangers.

Big block install will be tricky. You're gonna have to rethink the steering, inner front fenders, exhaust, rad/fan, core support, tranny crossmember... It's already pretty tight in there with a smallblock.

Now be a good little boy and write your intro.
