I seem to remember a thread or a reply to a thread long ago,about an old time parts house that had a large stash of old- stock pistons,rings,bearings,carbs, etc...I remember that there were pics of the shelves crammed full of old-stock goods,mostly NOS stuff...I've used every combination of "Old" Obsolete" Parts houses " etc to no avail in searching HAMB archives..It maybe wasn't a thread ,but was a reply to a thread...seems someone was searching for some NOS pistons (?) or something ..Don't think they even had a web addy..just a phone Anyone with better memory than mine have any info,links,etc cause I'm on a mission to get my stalled out engine project going. The engine work on my Track T project has come to a screeching halt..I need 4 Speed-Pro L2500F pistons(std. bore 3.778")..Seems S/P has stopped/paused production. They keep promising to mfg/ship "next month or so..."..All the usual sources (Jegs,Summit, PAW,etc. etc.)are out and they also say .."next month or so.." As I understand it, this has been going on for a year or so.. So :Anyone here have any "inside" contact? : Anyone here know of a source of old stock/out-of -production pistons? : Anyone know of a secret stash of Speed- Pro pistons?? : Any SWAG's , reputable info, theories, I 'm aware of CP's ,Diamond's,Wiseco's and others ($$$$$).but I'm really on a mission for these S/P's Thanks, Stan
