This is one of my favorite events of the year

    Jungle Park Reunion

Race engines will roar again at Jungle Park Speedway. Jungle Park
will stage its 5th Annual Reunion on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at
the fabled racetrack 8 miles north of Rockville, Indiana on U.S. 41.

Daring drivers like Wilbur Shaw, Mauri Rose, Rex Mays, Kelly Petillo,
Tony Bettenhausen, and Duke Nalon challenged Jungle's tree lined,
multi-curve racing surfaces during the 30's and 40's. Attendees can
still see the track and one of the old covered wooden grandstands as
if time has stood still since the last big car race in 1955.

You can get close to the wire wheel era cars that assemble each year
to remember the glory days at Jungle Park. Other cars, ranging more
contemporary racecars to Indy roadsters to midgets always appear as
well giving the viewer a chance to see the evolution of the racing
scene. When they line up and rumble through a parade lap around the
old racing bowl it is a sight to see and hear.

Come for great cars, good food, and priceless stories of racing's
golden era-you'll be glad you did. The Jungle Park Reunion is a great
way to spend a Saturday in west central Indiana. Everyone is welcome-
    gates open at 9 A.M.
