Inches away from using the B.F.H. on my 235

  1. I'll have to look into the wires on the ignition switch. I just checked the coil first since that was recommended earlier in the thread. I am troubleshooting as I move along, learning as I go. I'll investigate further tomorrow after work. Thanks for your help John.

    Is this car 12 volts or 6 volts? If it's 12 volts and your using a 10si gm alternator it will continue running unless there is a small light bulb wired in series on the wire that goes to the ignition switch. I think theres another way to fix this other than the light bulb that involves a resistor but cant remember exactly.
     
  3. It's still the original 6 volt with a generator electrical system.
