History Images of vintage gas stations ~ pre 65

    I've got cool one I'd like to share w you guys, although not a photograph but rather a water color of my Great Grandfathers Conoco gas station painted by a friend of my Grandmother and acclaimed artist Ramon Froman. You can see their house in the background, it's still there. Highway 4 in a tiny town of Watson OK right near the Arkansas border. Excuse the poor quality, it's a picture of a picture in a frame. 20210928_213256.jpg

    loudbang, makes me think of a little Texaco station in Fostoria Ohio. Everything was outside, even the rack. Circa 1953 i think.
