I don’t think it looks funky at all. 2tone on a Customline model was different than the Failane for principle color

 

Had a tire blowout friday night before a car show and still got a trophy, best "Under construction" even with mismatched tires and all

 

Found this for sale today..old gasser style.. radiused wheelwells, fenderwell headers and a 4 speed.

 

Post body….project for sure but not for me..too old.

Here's what I'm talking about . . .


The car on the left has the "factory" one-tone color headlight shells (it's cheaper that way), the one on the right has two-toned it. Yes, I know, they're both customs. I think the two-tone one makes more sense.

 

It’s a 55-56 deal to me since the spear went to the end of the headlight door on the 56 fairlane model only. ..but Ford saw a nickel and saved a nickel.
