So I'm browsing through all the threads and here is a link to a photo showing the first 55 coming off of the line in July of 1955. Mahwah opened in July of 55 (I should have checked Wikipedia) so it looks like if it was built in '54 it would have been in Edgewater (E Code makes sense) that Mahwah replaced.

loudbang!!!! Always wondered about your handle and avatar. Then, last week, I found an image on E-Bay of a Navy medal for "ORDINANCE and EXPLOSIVES". What .............. hearing is just ok and I still have all my body appendages more damage resulted from shooting firearms with no ear protection and Loudbangs were saved for special occasions.
