This is my 1931 Model A coupe as of today.

I'm out there, working in the sun all day thinking, everyone is going to hate this rod. The DFW Model A guys won't like the 4.3L V6. Or the '68 fairlane 8 inch with Dirty's custom ladder bars (thanks Rusty). Or that I'm going to run the body in bare metal.

The hot rod guys won't like the small motor, or the 700R4, or the cheesy spray-on "vinyl" top (admit it, I'm not the only one that's done this), or the original stance with a buggy spring and original wire wheels and fenders.

But, at this time, this is the way it's gunna be. And I am going to enjoy the hell out of it!

    Dan,
It's YOUR rod, do what ever in the hell you want to do with it.
If someone dont like it, offer to sell it to 'em for $80,000
so they can "do it right" :D

    Bob,
I gota healthy suspicion that quite a few people who would be
considered "celebrities" cruze the hamb under assumed names.

    A healthy suspicion indeed...

I hope juice brakes for the front are in the game plan. 4.3 w/OD looks great with today's gas prices. Those hard skinny tires will help, too. Cool car, keep colorin' outside the lines!

hell i wish i could pull the 200 V6 out and drop in a 4.3 in my uncles 29 RP. they fit run great. make good drivers and don't cost much. looking good man

  27. Who gives a shit what everyone else thinks! it's yours and if you like it drive the tires off it!! I think with the price of fuel it is a great idea. I got more people asking me why I stuck a MBZ diesel drivetrain in my 48 Chrysler and I just say I LIKE IT!!
