Yep! I love brown too. About ten years ago, I got personalized plates for my '50 Fleetline that read 'BKDBEAN' for when I eventually paint it a color I have stuck in my head...kindof a reddish brown metalic. I still haven't painted the car, and now brown has gotten so popular. I don't know if that's good or bad.

In the latest (Oct. 2011) Street Rodder, there's a really nice '50 Ford shoebox that's painted in a Glasurit color called 'Brandywine Copper Mica'. That just might be my color! It's beautiful!

Goggle a little outfit called U.P.S. Just jivin ya, wow the two examples of the Cad and Chevy are super sweet. I hear what pov flats says about stay around brown for resale on ordinary drivers. I have a thing about earth tone cars, seeing them as dangerous as they blend into backgrounds to easy. I have had them come out of nowhere on some backgrounds and scare the daylites outta me. Saw this one today. Thorn Brown 1930 Ford original color. It looked nice in person, almost maroon.

here's a caddy that used to hit the shows, used to be a satin metallic brown, it was very subtle have to find pics of it...

 

never realized i have taken so many pictures of brown cars!

 

I love this color - exactly what I was thinking for a nice, warm, hot rod brown.

Hey here is my 49 club coupe in PPG light brown metallic i have the code. In sun looks more copper. Roof is gold metal flake and root beer brown flake mixed.

 

34 chev in original brown - not mine unfortunately.

 

Do you have any shots of the roof you could post up? I really dig the body the color. Good lookin ride you have there.
