Heres mine from a couple of years ago ..........04 nissan murano .........copper sunrise ?

 

My O/T 4X4 46 chevy...was already painted when I bought it...don't know the color details.

 

Take a look at early Ford colors in the 30's as well as VW and Mercedes in the 50's

 

This was painted in the late 70's with Imron with Rootbeer fenders and the paint has not lost it's luster after all these years!

 

70's ford brown is true root beer brown, I did see a late model lexas the other day that had a nice metalic brown on it.

 

Here is one for you.

 

Brown's great. I once posted something about brown cars on a different forum expecting to get a bunch of comments about rolling turds and so on, but most people shared my opinion. It's a warm, rich, masculine, elegant color.

I will take brown over black any day of the week. Mines kinda brown.

 

06 Lexus: Tiger Eye Mica

 

Porsche's new Macadamia Metallic. I have seen this color in person, and it is SEXY on a curvy car.



And don't forget about the Trendero. It was a nice coppery brown.

 

70-80's porsche 911...mocha brown..

 

This is Oz early 70's Chrysler Mahogany Metallic....with some fading & road rash.....its been on it since 1977......andyd

 

I took photos of your truck inside at Torque Fest--I thought it was black.

 

Back in the 80s my buddy owned a 70s deuce coupe he bought out of Minnesoata, which was painted with House of Color root beer over a 50/50 silver/gold base coat. Was a striking color in the sun and I remember going to Columbus with him in it and people would ask what color the car was painted.

yeah!!! Brown car with orange shag carpets. the 70's are making a comeback.

 

here's a few i've came across over the years.

 

Magazines from the '70s are full of them. I was saying how much liked the brown resto rods from that era. Very elegant.

 

If it was the free love like the 60's would you be complaining then?
