I have read this thread four times today. I don't know you Rick, other than Reading your other posts on here. But,...I tear up every time. I didn't know what to say earlier and probably still don't. But here it goes!..If Sandy enjoyed life and Hot Rodding as much as it sounds,...all I can say is Keep marching on! Take some time, remember all the good things!...and Get back out there Building!...I'm sure she would want that! Prayers to ya, take care. We are all Here for Ya!

I feel for you Rick, I really do sir, Jan the 6th 2013 I lost the love of my life Hayley as suddenly as you lost you darling wife. We had been together 28 years through good times and bad.. she was only 45 and in perfect health... We to had no children and that feeling of loneliness is massive no matter how many friends or family you have around you... You are lucky to have your faith for I had/have none..... I have got myself a hound to keep me company, in fact he is asleep with his head on my lap now.... walk away from here if you feel the need but don't turn your back on us my friend, it help's to have a bolt hole to take your mind away from real life, I speak from experience.. funnily enough Facebook saved my skin..... I still struggle on a daily basis with normal life but it does get a little easier.... my thoughts and love are with you..

Rick, I'm so shocked and feel your hurt. I'm so sorry. Normally we as men expect to go first and be saved this. Nothing I can say will console you right now. You have to go through with it. All I can say is, it does get easier and you will live again. You were very lucky to have shared your life with such a wonderful women. Few men get that privilege.
Remember to come back to us, otherwise we'd miss you.
