:)Great work ,your getting near the result of your labor.:D

  2. I like to see things like this, because I have a '32 Rockne body I saved and stashed and I want to do something similar with it, except the body would get cut down into an extended cab pickup (keeping the roof) and I would splice and stretch the doors as they're fairly short.

I'm not even sure if I want to do the body first, or do a frame first, I can probably ballpark the wheelbase easy enough. I have half of an AA truck frame for front frame horns and a crossmember I can use.

You're building a great car, and far be it from me to give you suggestions or constructive criticism, but are you going to move the rear fenderwells back and square the rear edge of the door? It seems to interrupt the flow and the eye is drawn immediately to that area.

Please don't think I'm knocking your build, it just seems inappropriate for an otherwise VERY tasteful build.

I hate a chevy in a mopar, but it is traditional. Nice build. I also am not willing to make a donation, so keep the chevy.

nice looking car. sits right and the fab work looks great.

funny about the grille, the posers are whining about the sbc, and don't even notice the non Mopar Ford grille.

Thanks for all the support, I dont mind criticism, but I'd stop posting if it weren't for people like you. I just do it cause it's fun, not to please others.

  15. The Ford Grille looks okay on there, the Chevy, meh. The Fab work and overall look of this thing is awesome, but as they told me in art school, you need to be able to take a bit of criticism when you do something everyone will see.

Man, I wanted to build that '56 330 sooo bad, but I had already installed a Vortek 350 from Chevrolet in my '32 roadster. It is completed, and is fun to drive if I have my sombrero on my bald head. Roadsters in South Texas are kind of rare because of the triple-digit temps for SEVERAL months each year. Anyway, I need to hit a lotto if I am going to build my Hemi, but I can always hope. Those early ones are great, all of them. Good luck with your builds.

Cool car. Shame to hide its lineage under such a common Model A radiator shell. If you decide to go with the original Chrysler I have a mint radiator shell ornament.

Looks awsome... There's Chrysler that looks alot like that in a junkyard near me- except they cut the roof off of a 2 door sedan instead.

    Keep up the good work!
