anybody been using the permatex RTV that comes in a can with a finger trigger? man this stuff kicks ass! it's a thinner consistancy, but much more cost effective, usually the squeeze tubes explode, dry up, or whatever, wasting most of the silicone, and they're clumsy to use. i bought one can many months ago, and have put together several engines and some other misc crap, and that thing just keeps spitting out the goods! easier to unplug the tip too.

i know, pretty ridiculous to get excited over such simple things, but it really speeds up engine work, and will probably save you $$ in the long run.

Thanks Ray: saw that stuff but was wondering how it worked. Now I know. Merry Christmas.
