IH ID numbers

I have a late 1940 international Harvester 1 1/2 ton. the id number plates are on the drivers kick panel are there frame numbers also? when I go to the DMV (Oregon) to register do they also check for a frame # thanks

 

The frame number on my 1948 KB6 is stamped on the front of the driver's side frame just back from the bumper mounting. The stamping is about 1/4 or 3/8" tall.

 

ty neb I found them under the crud on the face of the frame around the drivers side fr. spring shackle didn't expect to see them on the side of the frame
