So even though I am a LOOOOOONG ways way from paint, I still day dream about color combinations for my 56 Victoria. My 56 fairlane is red and white, so red and white, and red are out. This car was originally teal/white, then someone painted it black, then white, then black, then red. Not that that effects anything. Personally I would love to clear right over the patina, however, there is alot of rot and 500 tons of bondo that I need to get rid of, so unfortunately that is not an option. General theme of the car is Friday Night Stop Light Action, Stroked and bored 390/ top loader/ 9". Black steelies, dog dishes, maybe trim rings. Mild custom touches - Nosed, decked, louvered hood, shaved handles (maybe), saved antenna, tube grille, staggered stance, dummy spots, peep mirror, etc So if you could paint it any color, what would you choose? I won't influence anyone by saying the colors I am thinking. If it helps any, the interior will be black (need to be able to sit in it all greasy), I work, get and drive my cars. Not show cars/ trailer queens. ALSO, please feel free to post pictures of the suggested colors!
