I would have to say a 57 Chevy and a 31 coupe...Ive had my 57 for 18 years and just got done with the coupe. So im happy.....happy rodding or whatever:)

  2. I'd have to have either a pickup or a station wagon, and a coupe or a ragtop.

    Pickup --- '55 Chevy Cameo, '58 Dodge Sweptline, or a '56 Ford F100.

    Wagon --- '48 Chrysler Town and Country, 1948 Marmon-Harrington Ford 4x4, or a '56 Plymouth two-door wagon (I DO have that one!)

Coupe --- '47 Chrysler New Yorker, '56 Chrysler 300B, or a '53 Hudson Hornet Hollywood

Ragtop --- '48 Chrysler Town and Country, '62 Chrysler 300G, or a '58 Chevy Impala

Out of those, I'd really have a great day with the Chrysler Town and Country wagon and the T&C ragtop!!!:D:D:D:D:D The late '40s Chrysler woodies are works of art! The wagon would remain stock as it was on Day One, but the ragtop would have VERY subtle mods on it - undetectable to all but the most hardcore woody fanatic!

I consider myself rather fortunate; I would like my 4 speed 56 Nomad back & my 27 T RPU is the other car & it's almost finished!

    ....just 2 more posts, & I'm there!.......the 1000th post mark!

Notwithstanding the value of most others if the stipulation was that I had to drive what I chose, could never sell them, I'd keep what I got.

  29. 1962 Chrysler 300H convertible, white with white top and red leather interior, 413 cross-ram with the Pont-a-Mousson 4-speed transmission.

...and a 1953 Hudson Hornet convertible, black with red leather inteior and tan top, 308 Twin-H flathead Six, dual-range Hydromatic trans, wide whites on the optional Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels, and every single option I can find for it.

Right now, I'm pretty happy with my current ownership of a '66 Dodge Coronet and a '37 Terraplane - one post-war, one pre-war.
