Actually my true dream is to move next door to Moriarity and bug the shit out of him until he built me a car. :) Hey Moriarity, are there any houses for sale in your neighborhood?

I'd have to hire someone to track down my first car, for sure, but I have a quirky list of other stuff.

'27 T lakes roadster or the Chester Osgood car
'34 chopped top 3 window w/a SCoT blown Ardun
'56 DeSoto Wagon w/ hemi for a push car
Authentic FIA 289 Cobra ( would probably use up all the $ by itself)
Wenderski & Winkel's "Black Beauty" Top Fuel FED
The first flathead T bucket roadster that I ever saw (not in a magazine) that was built by some guy in Dinuba, CA in the '50's.

I believe its in the Petersen. If you can find a copy of the movie " The Choppers" get it. Ivo's T is featured in it.

For a "known car" this would have to hit the collection (thanks to the post of it's twin brother from a different mother!):

I would have DeuceTruck's black 32 pickup. Then the rest of the money I would spend on gas driving it!

  19. Roth's "Road Agent"?
If you had the money on you and had been at The Icons of Speed & Style Auction Sept.2009 you could have had it ....plus plenty left over.
    I heard it went for $ 187,000.00
( What really surprised me was his "Druid Princess" going for $ 203,000.00 Go figure )
Ray Farhner's "Boot Hill Express" showcar went for $ 126,500.00
The Tony Nancy '29 Sparks & Bonney powered flat head "22Jr" roadster went for $220,000.00
One of the highest bids went for the Alexander Bros."Dodge Deora" ..$ 324,500.00

    Me?..I would have been happy w/ Darryl Starbird's "Big T"..only $ 49,500.00

A million is way short, THE CAR IS the COBRA COUPE, it's got a pedigree, has won a lot of championship races. It was for sale at auction. Reserve was 6.4 million.

  24. My dream car is still a '61 Chrysler 300G or '62 Chrysler 300H convertible, with a 413 dual-quad cross-ram, Pont-a-Mousson 4-speed, red with red/white leather interior and white top, along with every available power accessory.

These cars were nearly identical, except the '61 had fairly large fins, and the '62 had very small fins. Both are magnificent cars!

the one I want was built on paper.. does that count? I just want my old effie back done up like Cory Vaughn drew it, chopped, slammed, tuck n' roll full on custom treatment.. w/ either a blown 394 Rocket, a Boss 429, or a Cammer... it'd be a custom that would get shown with the hood open..

other than that a blacked out Miura would be soooo sick..

and then take the left over cash paint my '80 Cutlass a nice glossy black, full black leather interior, and then stuff a tri powered 425 Olds under the hood...

  26. Call me sick but I am quite happy with what I have million Dollars or not.
The first V10 Dodge Ram ever ordered from Chrysler (order #---0001)
    A 1963 Dodge 440 series 2 dr hrdtp 426 MAX Wedge clone .
    The worlds first Senior Dragster.
What more could a man want? And two of these cars I made with my own fat little hands.

  27. With 6.4 million, I'd have to buy a bunch of homes in interesting locations (with interesting cars in each garage), and spend the rest of my life rotating visitation to each one. Fuck that Cobra;)

I'd like the Sam Barris Merc.

    Boothill Express

the orange 34 coupe that was in Pat Ganahls (SP?) video.

then I'd spend what was left at the end of August at Pleasanton Goodguys. I'm sure I could find a few cars there that would be fun. I'd have to find an appropriately modified AD Chevy truck, though a particular one does not stand out in my mind right now.
