    I can’t make out on the back where it’s made, I’ll have to work on it a bit. But this thing is pretty neat

    Same gauge different bezel with rounded corners.

    If I remember right. The MG dash has the bezel for the oil pressure built into the dash and gauge and glass assembly mounted behind. So you are correct. Can be expected from British Leyland.
