Technical identifying Ford hydraulic brakes

    Had these laying around for years and dug them out to use on my '33 Tudor...I have two sets of these, but noticed they are different.

    I think the ones on the right are 1940 and the ones on the left are 1939??? Right?

    The one on the right is '39 to '41 and the one on the left is '42-'48.

  3. The one with no adjustment at the bottom is '46-'48 and the other is '39-'42

    "early-design Ford/Lockheed brakes (with the adjustable lower shoe anchors) as 1939-1942, and the later design (with the self-centering lower anchors) as 46-48"
