Hot Rods Identify this License Plate/Interior(?) Light

Found this in my pile and can’t remember what it’s from. Measures about 7-1/2” across.

Looks like an interior light to me.

I think it's a late '40s Stude ...

 

I have one of those interior lights but forgot where it came from. Likely Stude.
I had a few 1950s and a couple 51s in the past.
I think thats way in the back just above the rear window of a 4-piece window Starlight Coupe.
not 100% certain, more like 90%

WHY BE ORDINARY ?

 

Yep, looks like '50-51 Stude...at least that's what others are listing it as on Ebay. Not sure how I got this. I've never owned a Studebaker. Thanks.
