My dad saw it today and sent me this picture. The grill looks so familiar but I just can't place it. I'm pretty sure its about 1954-ish. I've been googleing every make I can think of and can't find it. Its killing me!

    Thanks,
    Ryland

    Thanks!

Man I was off on the date!

I guess I wasn't thinking Pontiac because it didn't have to strips down the hood.

I have no information on this car. I will ask my dad where he saw it tomorrow. I do love me a wagon!

Not much progress going on with the Buick, I've worked a little bit on putting a dual pot M/C. I drove it once more too. Another OT project has been taking up my car time.

That could find a place of honor in my garage any time. I had a Starfire that I should have kept and wish I could find a Safari.

Wow! The 57 Pontiac holds an honored place in my heart. My uncle was a Pontiac dealer in 57. He sold my older brother a 57 Super Chief that I lusted after as a 13 year old boy. My uncles demo car was a triple black FI Bonneville convertible. My dad was going to buy it at the end of the model year but my mother put the kibosh on that.:D The 57 was the rarest Safari or Chevy Nomad of the 3 years. (I don't count the later 4drs only the 2drs count) They have long out paced my pocketbook. I'm back to lusting again.:D
