identify model and approx yr. please

This is the only photo my family has of my grandfather soda delivery truck. My great grandmother raised two boys alone and started a soda company during the depression in williamstown pa. Called violet smith and son or smith soda. Can anyone please identify the truck as to make model yr. I Also included pictures of his soda bottles. I think it is strange, odd, awesome, that my greatgrandma during depression all alone started a business and made soda and then brought her oldest son james my pap into it when he was 18.

 

not much to go on ,but it looks like a 39 or 40 chevy or possibly a gmc

That new picture is a 41-47 1st Chevy truck NOT a 39-40.

 

yes the new picture is a 41-47. but what makes you say the original picture is not a '39?

 

Im not sure he is saying my paps truck isnt a 39-40 chevy he is saying that last color photo is not a 39-40 chevy. Thats all i think
