I have a 50 Dodge Wayfarer and I'm considering running an automatic. I'm interested in knowing if anyone has used the Wilcap trans adapter to run a 350/400/700r behind the I6 flathead. I know Ill have to fabricate a trans mount but what other obstacles can i look forward to. Any photos of kick down linkage setup or mounts would help.
    Thanks.

The main issue I'd have is that if that little six has the poop to run the auto trans and pull what you put it in.

not an I6, but I do have a wilcap mating my 8BA to a 700r4, uses a MOPAR mini-starter. They make a VERY fine product with detailed instructions and ALL needed hardware.
