I want to start by saying I'm sorry to anyone I may have offended or upset by putting my post in the wrong area of the form. I have only posted one other time, and not even sure that one was right. I will try to get it right the next time, I will be FAR more careful. Second I want to thank everyone that replied with suggestions and answers.
The HAMB Police can be a bit over-zealous sometimes, but they are trying to protect the integrity of the rather narrow focus of the board. Some of the written and unwritten rules can take some getting used to, but it will be alright, I promise. Anyone who drove a front engine rail in the 60s is probably going to fit right in around here. See ya, -Abone.
I didn't even notice anything until you said something. Now I'm going through your posts looking for something
I think there's a core group of folks that take this board way too serious, they technically have no authority but love hitting the "report" button.....carry on
It's not how many times you fall down but how many times you get up. We all learn and grow. You'll get the hang of it, like we all did! Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
maybe it's just me, but I find this site very confusing as to where to post something to searching for a past topic. I find I'm better off googling my topic and put HAMB in the search. Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Who knows. You might want to leave this site and go to another site to find your answer on this site. Got it? Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I think the problem may be that some guys think that hot rods only come built before 1935 and don't have fenders. The moderators tend to move threads from one section to the other too. I've had that happen posting photos of car shows before. The only one I report or have ever reported is that SOB that sneaks on every night with a new id and posts the spam post about this time. I've lost track of how many times I have reported him.
No big deal Ron, now that you have our attention place a link to the "offending" thread here so we know what it was all about. Bob
Here's a nice search tutorial that HRP put together once upon a time. Using the Advanced Search functions seems to get much better results. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum...-function-actually-work.933666/#post-10528450
Don't sweat it man - it's all good. If you are unsure on posting something send me a private conversation....I'll guide you. Cob
I just reported this Pete.. Edit: I should have read other that said the same thing ( in so many words) as I did..
You have nothing to apologize for,I would think 95 % of us have posted in the wrong section at one time or another. HRP
