I Really Screwed Up This Time!

  1. I think I have a pair that aren't rusted to shit; I can even AutoCAD them up.

    Here are the measurments

    on the front:


    from face of the hub to end 1 13/16

    across the bearing cap opening, out side to outside 2 1/4

    Rear

    back of face to end -2 1/2

    Across seal opening out side to outside 3 "

    It looks like the wheel mounting surface is good? If so, I would JB weld the pits on the back and face them flat.The backs don't support the wheel,just position the drum. If the drum crack is in a hole that you are not going to use and will redrill the drum, just forget about it. When using the 5.5 pattern, I turn the drum to fit the hub. This retains the hub strength. I turn the hub when going to the 4.5 pattern to improve hole edge distance.

    If I can't find replacments I will try that. Do the stud holes look ok? They are very large and I undersrtand that the stud can be removed wrong running the hub.

    I might be interested in the old drum, i there is still a LOT of meat left in them, i'm cutting the center out of a couple in my garage to put '38 ford wide 5 hubs on them, so that pretty much means i need to cut a 9 or 10" hole in the center to fit the hubs.....

    I bought hubs from Bob Wilson, and they just arrived look great!
