I need your help to choose some colors for my interior. Mainly the carpet for right now.

I got chosen to test out this insulation for lobucrod and the poor guy has been waiting forever for some feedback. Well the waters have calmed around the Giacalone mansion and we finally have some time to work on my car. So since the whole car is getting insulated i figure i better get some carpet layed on the floor.

What color would fit my car? A color that wont be too hard to keep clean yet still look good? Im thinking of doing the interior in white and blue(to match the body/frame) or white and metalflake blue. Some tuck n roll.

I was thinking black for the carpet but it gets kinda gross looking.

My dad says navy blue but the whole car is lighter than navy blue.

Zenor has bad ass carpet in his coupe.

I dunno. Im lost. I need carpet next week. What do you think?

Just do a dark gray carpet and pimp out your seats and door panels. That way the carpet will not be noticed when people look at it. Black carpet will be to much of a contrast with your already white dash and future white interior. Easier to control balance this way, but what do I know, it took me 7 years to get an Art Degree.

Blue... OEM loop style like came in a '57 chebby. It's cheap... cleans easily with a wisk broom... and will go well with what you have planned. (see attached pic). That's my 3 cents (inflation ya know).

+1 need i remind you of all the great things in this world that are pink?

dark blue would be nice especially if you go with white as well, that way you only have 2 colors to deal with. I had to go to special carpet school to learn all about this.

Dark blue carpet looks good against light blue paint, i think. With white binding.

I'm diggin' the white/metalflake blue for the interior. I vote for black carpet, blue might just be too much blue for the car.

Go find a '61 Impala with light blue interior... Use the same materials... especially the light blue fabric inserts used on the seats...

I think a charcoal (think salt n' pepper) loop would look good, very neutral....

I think Navy would look good. That one picture above with the white accents looks good. Id definatley go with the white/blue throughout like your thinking. A blue seat with whie piping to match the floor and door panels.....Your wheel is metal flake so if you went with the metallic blue on your door panels thatd be cool.....Are you thinking Zodiac material or ???

Also just a thought if you were thinking of going with the black carpet, maybe a black seat with a blue center inset and white piping...Then match your door panels with somthing similar

Black...it will show off the blue/white interior and will not create attention to the floor. Killer car, brother.

I vote white tuck and roll seats and door panels with plain black loop carpeting. Take a look at my album for my interior done in a similiar way. I think blue carpeting has too much chance for clash and or poor color match...

Oh yeah... Nice dash. Got one just like it in my car...

Nick You need to get in touch with your female side and pick a nice pastel color.

If it was mine I would go for a dark grey. Keith:D
