I have a nice pair of 17" Chevy 6 bolt wire rims and a pair of 18" Chevy 6 bolt wire rims. Can these be made to use modern tubeless tires? I've also read about rims being widened. Is this do-able? Is it worth the cost? What would need to be done to make them tubeless?

Yeah, it can be done. but costs a lot. As much as a new wire wheel. I could do it for you if you really want.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind when that time comes.
