I'm building a model of a 50 Ford with a flathead V8, & trying to figure out where the cable from the solenoid to the starter runs. Does it go around the back side of the engine, or along the cross member where the lower A arms are? Also, where was the ground wire typically attached?

    Thanks,
    Steve

Thanks guys! Just what I needed to hear.

Rodknocker, I saw that diagram before & that's what made me think it may be going along the cross member.

    Thanks again,
    Steve
