WOW, I dont know how I havent seen this thread until now. Great fab work
dude, this thing is gonna be monumental... just killer.
Just sumthin to cruise, eh? Very nice cruiser, indeed.
Beautiful build. Amazing chassis work! I hope one day I can achieve your level of fabrication.
hells yes bro!
too bad this thread didnt exist before I started mine...
things could have been a little easier
and btw the section is sweet!
You got some big balls man! If someone tells you " I'm gonna build my own suspension/air bag set up, do a v8 transplant, section, chop my car and do it all my self in my garage". 99% of the time my reaction would be Stop talking shit.
You are walking the walk and not bothering to talk the talk, I can't wait to see the chop finnished and what you're next trick is. Cool as fuck!
Damn, a whole page with no pics.....
I was gonna say the same thing. I really hope i'll become this good at fab n weld.
Yeah, aint that a stinking problem? and you are inside, so it aint all that bad. I work outside, and everytime it rains is wire wheel time! It sucks!
Anyway, THANK YOU for taking the time to show us how its done.
Wow, your work is amazing!
This is why I joined the HAMB, to see what people with skills can do. Compared to DaVinci-like artists like you, I feel like a 3 year old hitting myself in the head with wooden blocks and drooling all over myself.
LOL...it's always the reputation that precedes one's work...if no one knows you are capable of failing, then the reputation gets built even higher... with the pix being made after the work is done and looks good, then you can make up your own story about how you did it and say: "Yep, see, I was correct in doing it this way."
Awesome work, BTW...no matter if you do it only once...or have to do it twice to make it work. It's way beyond my skills. One of the best builds here on the HAMB.
BTW, I think this build is much more than something as simple as "I just want something to cruise...!!!"
hahah thanks you guys are too kind. but before page 9 goes without pictures, like page 8 did, i got one crappy cell phone shot! just tossed this up to get some ideas for the rear pillar
and thanks again.
It's lookin' good.
Man I love this forum! And I love this build thread...truely inspiring skill and details!
Great chop too
Beautiful work! So... Does that mean if we all hurry up and jam the thread with posts, that you'll keep working and update with more pictures faster? We could all help you finish by the week's end!
Don´t know how I missed this thread before, impressive work!
Wish my frame looked half as good.
I'll help with the pic count. Here's a few more from our fun Sunday....
Sorry for the quality, shitty pics from my phone.
thanks tony! i really appreciate the help man! with both the pic count and roof chopping! the porta-band was genious! and your chicano impressions had me laughin!
that second pic is really scary!
I didn't do much man, but enjoyed being a part of it regardless.
Porta-bands rock! lol
And yeah i get off on tangents with my goofy impressions, and that was sober besides. hahaha
And i kinda liked that pic! Then again i dig tin work so...
Man that is gonna be nice!!!
Looks incredible. Any updates? ?
not dead yet.
Oh my god that's going to be incredible!! Very exciting stuff!!! I'd like to see more!!!
you need to move closer dammit! i want to help again! hand you the tools and such.
Proportions are spot on! Damn. Unbelievable chassis work, and now the body is just as good.
