I'm new here but have lurked for awhile. I just bought my first really old car. It's a '53 Buick Super or special I'm not sure how to tell yet. I'm going to need a lot of help and it looks like this is the place for it.
They both have 3 ventiports but the super is wider than the special-do a search and it will be obvious real fast. Welcome aboard!!
Welcome from TX, check out the Buick HAMBers social group, we should be able to help you with some of your questions, there's a few folks on there with the early '50s cars like yours.
welcome Buicks are Super and special in many ways. Special is a straight eight 6 volt elect system, rear fenders part of the body Suoer is a V 8, 12 volt system and rear fenders bolt on to the body, super has a wider body also. Both have three port holes. Roadmaster has 4 port holes.
