    Odd, he didn't look drunk...

I think his shirt make him look knowledgeable, it even has his name on it.

This is my 3rd post .This is too funny. He probably got 300 .00 to repair that windsheild 20 years ago.Today you remove windsheid and weld and do bodywork. Somebody would probably do for the same price granted there was no problems.Old school is not using dental floss and bondo_Old school is Chicken wire and plaster. And a few nails for stiffening .

Now, how about a video showing the correct way to weld sheet metal in without warping etc.

You know you're a shitty body man when your stuff is being criticized by a guy who calls himself Bash'n'Weld.

Having worked in a body shop, I've seen way, way worse than this. Patch pieces cut out and replaced with cardboard, wheelwells made out of garden hose and rockers made out of house rain gutters.

I know a guy who would fill a rocker panel up with expanding spray foam, hold a big piece of cardboard up to the rocker until it sets up, then cut it off flush with a wood saw and mud over the top.

I've also stripped paint jobs and found coffee cans, license plates, and road signs being used as patch panels.

Damn, after watching all 3 of those videos, I really, really want to see the one where they customize that hideous Camaro with the goofy hood scoop and homemade flares and shit. I bet it's classic.

Oh man I forgot the bondo over aluminum tape! Thanks for reminding me!

My current car in as purchased condition had bondo over blue painter's tape(big circle that used to be a reverse light), which has held up better than the spray paint over duct tape used on the firewall.

Who says old techniques have been forgotten?!?

And if this guy is really here and posted on this thread, I hearby call you out.

We *WILL* find out who you are, you may as well cowboy up and explain yourself.

But not for that 'stache, that needs no explanation!!! :D

2nd post on this one. Still amazed at those videos. I think I may have gotten brain washed a bit.

Let's face it, we've all done some crazy shit when funds were low and we wanted our rides to look dope.

For some of us, this time was during our teenage years. Others, it may or still has lasted a bit longer. Needless to say, fast forward 25 years and there are still some hillbillys and hacks doing the same shit as our guy Al.

There is a reason why the Maaco's of this world are still in business. This dude is the Donald Trump of the trade for he got off his ass and actually made a video of how to do 1/2 assed repairs when funds were low or you needed to flip your ride in order to purchase that sweet El Cam.

Remember: The mullet was an acceptable hair cut at one time. So was this type of bondo magic. Fill it, sand it, paint it and send it on it's way. Next...
