I haven't been on in a while....

    I actually came back because I was looking for the trim rings that go around the middle of the wheel not the bead...That's not why I'm posting though. Somehow in my busy life I managed to get my '59 Edsel running again. I realized the reason it crapped out on me was a crack in the #4 exhaust valve seat. I did some research and pretended to be Dr. Frankenstein and fit a '61 223 head on, used the '61 pushrods, crossed my fingers and it worked.

    I'm waiting on some brake hoses and a wheel now.

    While on the lift I realized that the rocker panels were rather poorly reconstructed, therefore I have no shame in taking a saw to them to make some molded side pipes that tuck into the body the whole length down...That will be a future project, but one that I will enjoy when it's done!
