I just bought a 65 Riv with the 425 factory 2 x 4 nailhead. I will get some pictures when I pick it up. I am doing the HAPPY DANCE!!
Nice score, I know were there are several of those old rivi's. I should go see if they are still there and see if will sell one.
Just a quick question. What is the story with the inside door handles? This car has 2 on each door. 1 for the driver and front passenger and 1 for the people in the back seat. I have never heard of such a thing. Is this part of a trim package like the WildCat? Thanks Keith
Dance on, Amigo!! It sounds like you have good reason to do so!!! I'm anxious to see some pics. Are ya gonna change your screen name now?
I am sitting in the recliner doing a build in my head. Slammed with wide whites. I still have 3, 36 International trucks sitting in the driveway waiting to be picked up. You add my 39 and the Riv and that's a full house. Thank god for trees and non nosey neighbors. I will always keep my original screen name. Julie might have to get a new one though.
Yes, the door handles for the back are an upgrade option, along with other trim details. I miss my '65 Riv GS, was the best old car I've ever owned-solid.
Did Not know anything about Pats BBQ. Right now I do not have a running car , I haven't been in this situation in LOOOONG time. My 40 won't be here until wed or thurs. I guess I'll just work on the roadster this weekend. Let me know when you get the car home I'd like to see it, I saw it on CL yesterday, hell of a buy!!!
Binder, I think you're just a gloater. Now if you were to give me that old junker you just bought you will again be a "nice guy".
One of my favorite cars. I have vowed to own one someday. Congrats ! Now, WHERE ARE THE FREAKIN PICS ?????
